GOMicrobes - GOM (Group of Oceanographic Microbiology) started in the beginning of 2016 at Federal University of Santa Catarina led by Dr Maria Luiza S Fontes and Dr Regina Antonio. Our main goals are: to determine the microbial taxonomic and functional diversity in a wide range of environments, to cultivate microorganisms for biotechnological processes, and to produce renewable fuels.
